Research:

My scientific interest is to reveal phenomena relating to volcanic activities and eruptions using comprehensive analysis of various kinds of geophysical observations, and to apply the above results to prediction of volcanic eruptions. Especially, I am much interested in mechanism of magma storage and its migration like dike intrusion process. Recently, I am concentrated in the relation between seismicity around volcanoes and behavior of volatile components.
