研究内容

連続体の応用力学をベースに,我々は地震や地殻変動に関わるさまざまな現象のメカニズムを解明し,現実的な被害軽減対策を提案することを目標としている.現時点では,解明されたメカニズムを合理的に取り込んだ高度なシミュレーション手法の開発が中心的な課題である.
