Summit collapse, Miyakejima Volcano

Taken from aircraft of Japan Coast Guard by S. Nakada on the 9 July morning

Western view of the summit. Collapsed part is 1 km long and 0.8 km wide. The southern part that collapsed first is deeper than the northern terrace. The latter was a slided mass.
