Fig. 14 Geomagnetic total intensity observed at the point 200 m west and south-west of the crater during 1995-1998. The data measured every minutes were averaged from 00:00 to 03:59 and were reduced to AVL-point (about 7 km west of the crater). Decrease of the total intensity at C1 means thermal demagnetization at a shallow part beneath the crater.
