Prof/Director. Kazushige Obara was selected as a lecturer for 2015 “Gutenberg Lecture” at AGU fall meeting.

The “Gutenberg Lecture” is the named lecture in seismology given annually at the December AGU Meeting. Its goal is to showcase cutting-edge research (http://seismology.agu.org/gutenberg-lecture/)

This named lecture honors the  work of renowned seismologist. Prof/Director. Kazushige Obara is the 2nd Japanese seismologist who was selected as a lecturer, since after prof. Hiroo Kanamori  in 1996.
