1st July 2015, at the 26th IUGG General Assembly in Prague, Prof. Setsuya Nakada  in Volcano Research Center, received a certificate of IUGG honorary membership (fellowship)

The Fellowship (Honorary Membership) of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics is a tribute to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to international cooperation in geodesy or geophysics and attained eminence in the field of Earth and space sciences.
