(Danwakai: ERI Holds “Danwakai”, a monthly meeting where its members present their most recent academic and technical achievements, on a Friday of every month. Danwakai is open to the public.)

Date: Friday,17 June 13:30-
Place: ERI Bldg.2, 5th floor, Conference room1

1. 13:30-13:45
TITLE: A feasibility study for geomagnetic measurements using the High Altitude LOng range aircraft (HALO)
AUTHOR: * Reyko SCHACHTSCHNEIDER, Alban GEBLER (The GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences)・Vincent LESUR(The GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences)
SUMMARY: We show the feasibility of taking magnetic field measurements on-board a fast-flying aircraft.

2. 13:45-14:00
TITLE: On earthquakes in Oita triggered by the M7.3 Kumamoto earthquake
AUTHOR: * Shingo YOSHIDA

3. 14:00-14:15
TITLE: Simultaneous Estimation of Fault Slip and Asthenosphere Viscosity Using Large Scale Finite Element Simulation of Postseismic Deformation
AUTHOR: * Ryoichiro AGATA・Tsuyoshi ICHIMURA, Takane HORI (JAMSTEC), Kazuro HIRAHARA (Kyoto University), Chihiro HASHIMOTO (Nagoya University), Muneo HORI
SUMMARY: We developed a simultaneous estimation method of fault slip and asthenosphere viscosity incorporating a high-fidelity finite element model of crustal structure to increase reliability of postsesmic deformation simulation.
