TITLE: Geological Evidence for Tsunamis Generated by Intraplate Earthquakes in Beppu Bay

SUMMARY: This study revealed a detailed chronology of tsunamigenic intraplate
earthquakes that occurred in Beppu Bay before AD1596 using data from onshore sediment cores.
