Hajime SHIOBARA, Hiroko SUGUOKA (Kobe Univ.), Aki ITO (JAMSTEC),
Daisuke SUETSUGU (JAMSTEC), and Hisashi UTADA
SUMMARY: We show the three dimensional shear wave structure in the upper
mantle beneath the Pacific Ocean using land and BBOBS data.

TITLE: Location and depth of the 1855 Ansei Edo earthquake inferred from
seismic intensity characteristic

3. 14:00-14:15
TITLE: Monitoring of volcanic acitivities by a network of absolute gravimeters
using a telecom-wavelength laser
AUTHOR: * Akito ARAYA, Keisuke KASAI・Masato YOSHIDA・Masataka NAKAZAWA (RIEC,Tohoku U.),
Yoshiaki TAMURA (NAOJ) and Tsuneya TSUBOKAWA (Shin-ei Keisoku).
SUMMARY: We report current status of an absolute gravimeter using
a telecom-wavelength laser that can transmit at a long distance, and prospects
for its application to a network for monitoring volcanic activities.
