1. 13:30-13:45
TITLE: Learning from earthquakes
AUTHOR: * Lingling YE, Hiroo KANAMORI (California Institute of Technology),
Thorne LAY (University of California Santa Cruz), Jean-Philippe AVOUAC・
Nadian LAPUSTA・Tom HEATON and Victor TSAI (California Institute of Technology)
SUMMARY: I will briefly show my general research interests by analyzing seismic waves
to investigate the physics of earthquake faulting and controlling factors for ground shaking.

2. 13:45-14:00
TITLE: Dehydration-Driven Stress Transfer - DDST
AUTHOR: * Thomas P. FERRAND, Alexandre SCHUBNEL (Ecole Normale Superieure),
Nadège HILAIRET (Unité Matériaux et Transformations - Université de Lille 1) and
Loïc LABROUSSE (Sorbonne Université)
SUMMARY: The DDST model is an alternative to dehydration-embrittlement, in which
mineral transformation induces a stress transfer triggering seismic rupture.
Fluid overpressure is not required and not realistic at intermediate-depth.

3. 14:00-14:15
TITLE: Using Japanese tsunami records to estimate the magnitude of past
Chilean earthquakes
AUTHOR: * Patricio WINCKLER (Universidad de Valparaíso), M. CARVAJAL・
M. CISTERNAS (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso),
A. GUBLER・P.A. CATALÁN (Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María)
and R. L. WESSON (U.S. Geological Survey)
SUMMARY: Far-field tsunami records from the Japanese tide gauge network allow
the reexamination of the moment magnitudes (Mw) for the 1906 and 1922
Chilean earthquakes.

4. 14:15-14:30
TITLE: Beyond Receiver functions: Direct estimation of Green's functions
using reversible-jump MCMC and sparse modeling
AUTHOR: * Takeshi AKUHARA,Michael BOSTOCK・Alexandre PLOURDE
(The University of British Columbia)
SUMMARY: We aim to improve receiver function method using reversible-jump
MCMC or sparse modeling methods.

5. 14:30-14:45
TITLE: Determination of intrinsic attenuation in the oceanic lithosphere-
asthenosphere system
AUTHOR: * Nozomu TAKEUCHI・Hitoshi KAWAKATSU・Hajime SHIOBARA・
Takehi ISSE, Hiroko SUGIOKA (Kobe University), Aki ITO (JAMSTEC)
and Hisashi UTADA
