1. 13:30-13:45
TITLE: The run-out distance of large-scale pyroclastic density currents:
A two-layer depth-averaged model
AUTHOR: *Hiroyuki A. SHIMIZU, Takehiro KOYAGUCHI and Yujiro J. SUZUKI
SUMMARY: We have developed a new two-layer depth-averaged model for large-scale
pyroclastic density currents, and discussed how their run-out distances
are affected by the density stratification in the currents.

2. 13:45-14:00
TITLE: Surface deformation of Asama Volcano, Japan, detected by time series InSAR
AUTHOR: Xiaowen WANG (Southwest Jiaotong University) , *Yosuke AOKI and
Jie CHEN (The Chinese University of Hong Kong)
SUMMARY: Investigation of Synthetic Aperture Radar images of Asama Volcano
detected ground motion likely reflecting flank sliding.

3. 14:00-14:15
TITLE: Subduction structure of the Hikurangi Plateau beneath North Island
of New Zealand
AUTHOR: *Kimihiro MOCHIZUKI, Rupert SUTHERLAND・Stuart HENRYS・Dan BASSETT・
Dan BARKER(GNS Science), Ryuta ARAI・Shuichi KODAIRA・Gou FUJIE・
Yojiro YAMAMOTO(JAMSTEC), Harm Van AVENDONK and Nathan BANGS(UTIG)
SUMMARY: Subduction structure of HP was resolved where high Vp of
its uppermost mantle had been open to debate.
