CV

Born in an earthquake country and grown up near the epicenter of the 1923 Kanto earthquake that killed more than 100,000, I have always been interested in understanding secrets of how earthquakes and volcanoes work. As a professional, I have been pursuing my childhood dream mainly with observational and sometimes theoretical tools.

I am always eager to working with brightest students and postdocs. If you are interested in working with me, please send me an email.
