Classic Transects

This poster session continues the process of documentation and description of those 'Classic' seismic transects that have been recorded from a number of tectonic terranes throughout the world and that have influenced global thinking on geological processes. 'Classic' seismic transects are regarded as leading seismic examples that have made a major, global impact on geological thinking in terms of
  1.   Making a major contribution to our understanding of geological processes
  2.   Changing in a significant way our understanding of a region, area or province
  3. ˇˇMaking a major contribution to the science of imaging the Earth's crust and deep interior.


ˇˇClassic Transects Poster Session

This is a poster session only. All poster presenters should provide their poster to the IGCP474 for inclusion on their web site. Posters can be any length, however try to fit within a 2.4 m length.  Also please let the organizers know your poster length so they can organize poster boards.
