Eruption on Aug. 13.

Eruption occurred again from ca. 17:30 on August 13 at the summit of Mt. Oyama, Miyake-jima Volcano. Ash fell out in the west part of the island (Ako area).

Isopach map of Aug. 10 ash and Aug. 13 ash (by M. Nagai). Northern and Southern limit of the distribution are Yuge-hama beach and Ako Post office, respectively. At "Homare" hotel, the thickness was 14mm just after the deposition, but was 7mm after its dehydration.
