[Japanese]
Overview
A series of strong earthquakes (JMA intensities are larger than 5-) occured on the period from July 26 to 28. The list of earthquakes is as follows.
The list of Earthquakes      *Mj stands for JMA rapid solution
July 26, 00:13 (JT) (Mj 5.5*)
July 26, 07:13 (JT) (Mj 6.2)
July 26, 10:22 (JT) (Mj 4.8*)
July 26, 16:56 (JT) (Mj 5.3*)
July 28, 04:08 (JT) (Mj 5.0)
There is an active fault named "Asahiyama flexure", which has North-South strike, around the focal area. It is possible that this fault caused these earthquakes. Now field surveys are being carried out.
