Fault model: right lateral strike slip fault taken from Kikuchi and Yamanaka (2000) with slight modification; fault length is half of the original model but with dislocation two times larger to keep the seismic moment unchanged.

The above computation is consistent with the observation result by GEONET ; The Niijima Island had displaced 6cm toward north-north-west.
