Crust and upper mantle is considered to be most active region in the Earth. Study of dynamics of Earth surface region is useful to understand environment surrounding human including occurrence of large earthqukes. Plate boudaries such as trenches and ridges are most active in surface regions in the Earth. Because most of plate boudary regions are positioned under the sea, seafloor observation is essential. My study fields are earthquake and crsutal deformation observation on seafloor and seismic surveys using seafloor equipment such as ocean bottom seismometer. In addition, I have interest for development of seafloor equipment.
