I will first describe the physical meaning of poroelastic coefficients in Biot's constitutive equations. Then I will show how Biot's equations can be generalized to a fractured, porous medium. Finally, I will discuss the problem of modeling frequency-dependent poroelastic behavior in partially-saturated rock. |
