Self Introduction

My research is focusing on using multidisciplinary data to constrain crustal deformation models. The core purpose of my research is estimate structural settings and fault behaviors, together providing usefully information for assessing seismic hazards. With highly development of geodetic data in terms of the amount and types of observations in recent years, I am particularly interested in detecting and analysis spatiotemporal processes of tectonic-related events, for example, time-dependent interseismic slip and transient slow-slip event. My current work includes applying layered viscoelastic models and mechanical models to estimate strain partitioning of the San Andreas fault system in southern California. At ERI, my main research is study transient slow-slip event in the area around the Ryukyu Trench and Okinawa Trough. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with Dr. Junichi Fukuda and others at ERI.
