Self Introduction

Hello, I am Changsheng Jiang came from Beijing, China. I am an associate professor in the Institute of Geophysics, China Earthquake Administration (IGPCEA). I obtained my master’s degree in 2004 and Ph.D. degree in 2009 from IGPCEA in solid geophysics. My main interests are in statistical physics, earthquake prediction/forecast and its verification, and I am enjoying my research.

I am kindly hosted by Dr. Kazuyoshi Nanjo to do cooperative research on statistical seismology, such as Accelerating Moment Release (AMR) case study for Japan strong earthquakes. We also will exchange ideas and share experiments in the construction of ERI Testing Center and Chinese CSEP Testing Center under the framework of the international Collaboratory for the Study of Earthquake Predictability (CSEP) project. I greatly enjoyed my one-month visit to ERI, and looking forward to do further in-depth collaborative research with my ERI colleagues.
