I am a Professor and Director of the Division of Gravity and Earth Tide of the Institute of Seismology of China Earthquake Administration.
I grew up in the Sichuan province of China. I Graduated from Wuhan College of Geodesy and Cartography in 1982, and earned my master degree at the Institute of Seismology of China Earthquake Administration in 1985. As a visiting scholar, I once worked one year at Kyoto University in 1993.
My research interests cover most aspects of gravity and earth tide. Recent years, I mainly emerged in the dynamic gravity change research, and its application on the earthquake prediction. I engaged most of observation, data processing and interpretation of dynamic gravity network in china.
ERI is a famous institute in the world in many study fields, such as the gravity measurement and its application in monitoring seismic and volcanic activities. ERI and my Institute have collaborated in many scientific aspects for a long time. Since 2005, both institutes performed joint hybrid gravity measurements in the Red River Fault area of Yunnan Province of China, and obtained valuable results.
