I am Professor of Geophysics at University Paris-Diderot and IPG of Paris. My main research interests are related to observational seismology and its application to investigate deep Earth processes. I worked for many years on the effect of seismic anisotropy on free oscillations, surface waves, body waves, and seismic noise. I obtained global and regional anisotropy 3D tomography. I launch other projects on seismic sources (tectonic, environmental) by time reversal imaging methods. More recently, I work on a new project on the detection of prompt gravity anomaly during large earthquakes with a potential application on Earthquake Early Warning Systems.

I was first invited for 3 months in 2008 by Prof. Hitoshi Kawakatsu and I visited again ERI for 1month in 2009, 2010 and 2012. I had opportunity to work with many people in his group, on global tomography from seismic hum, regional anisotropic tomography by using OBS data and theoretical developments of time reversal techniques. I am now visiting for 2 weeks and my new stay will be primarily devoted to anisotropy investigation for retrieving radial anisotropy reference models with Prof. Hitoshi Kawakatsu but I am open to any new projects.
