I am a research scientist and obtained my PhD at University of Chinese Academy of sciences. I engaged in the forward modeling and inversion of crustal deformations caused by earthquakes from geodetic data, including GPS (Global Positioning System), InSAR (Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar), and GRACE (Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment). I am interested in the theoretical modeling of viscoelastic relaxation after a megathrust earthquake and its application. During my stay at ERI, I plan to expand our spherically elastic dislocation model to the viscoelastic by using Tanaka’s method, and use it to study the post-seismic deformation caused by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake. If possible, we will investigate two post-seismic processes after-slip and viscoelastic relaxation from GPS and GRACE data. It is the first time I visit ERI, I hope we get a willing collaboration.
