Seismological Observation Dataset

Purpose

The seismic waveform data recorded at the observation points for metropolitan areas of Japan will be released with the earthquake inspection reports, and will be used as a test-bed for performance evaluation of the waveform analysis method using machine learning technology.
We used 13 days (Sept.4-16th, 2011) during which time there were an above average number of earthquakes.

These are a collection of triggered waveform records from MeSO-net(296 stations) and a list of events or earthquakes.


+ Subset: Narita Array [18GB(compressed) -> 28GB(original)]
These are a series of 13 days continuous waveform records from Narita Array(13 stations) and a list of earthquakes.
