    (2) Modelling Viscous Mantle Flow
    
    2.1 Analytical Models of Incompressible Flow in a 3-D Spherical Shell
    
    - basic field equations and poloidal and toroidal flow solutions
    - poloidal Green functions in the spectral domain
    - spectral geodynamic kernels functions for surface observables
    
    2.2 Numerical Models of Compressible Flow with Radial Viscosity Variations
