概要

2004年にスマトラ島沖で発生したMw9.1の地震では、甚大な津波被害が生じた。その後も2011年東北地方太平洋沖地震(Mw9.0)など国内外で巨大地震・巨大津波が発生し、様々な研究や防災・減災対策が進んできた。本研究集会では、この20年間の地震・津波研究の進歩や今後の展望について議論する。

本研究集会の開催にあたって、以下の援助をうけています。
