Air hammer drilling down to 50 m was followed by rotary drilling in mid-February.

Rig-site preparation before air-hammer drilling and rig-up and istallation of water pipe lines had finished by the end of 2002 (paved access road and rig site with pools in late November).

Explanation: To reach the drilling site, USDP-4 site (new RS-3), construction of new forest road of about 400 m long is needed as the extension of the existing forest road together with widening and repairing of the latter. Drilling of wells of water that is essential for conduit drilling had been carried out in the entrance of the existing road. Installation of water pipe lines is also needed to the USDP-4 site.
