Recent Researches

Seismic evidence for a thermochemical mantle plume underplating the lithosphere of the Ontong Java Plateau

Plate boundary is about 40 km deeper than  the surrounding seafloor, which is a result of underplating of dehydrated residuals of a thermochemical mantle plume.

Isse et al., (2021)

Surface wave tomography for the Pacific Ocean incorporating seafloor seismic observation and plate thermal evolution

We constracted an age-dependent shear-wave reference model and a deviation map from the reference model.
