CiNii Books: Catalog of academic journals and books kept by university libraries in Japan and their location details.

NDL Search: NDL Search is a service that allows users to search for materials and digital materials from the National Diet Library and request for various services.
In addition, NDL search allows users to search for bibliographies and location information of Japanese books held by prefectural libraries and ordinance-designated city libraries, and search for other materials and digital materials provided by public, university, specialized libraries, and academic research institutions nationwide.

CiNii Research: You can collectively search information on CiNii Articles, CiNii Books, and CiNii Dissertations provided by CiNii. Research data and research project information are also searched.

Web of Science: Web of Science is a database of articles in major academic journals of all subject fields. It allows you to find articles citing these works or that share a common reference, as well as to limit a search by keywords.
In addition to journals, conference proceedings, books, research data, etc. are included.

GeoRef / American Geological Institute: The GeoRef database, established by the American Geosciences Institute (AGI) in 1966, provides access to the most comprehensive geoscience literature of the world. Available through GeoScienceWorld platform.

E-journal & E-book Portal: Summary of links to electronic materials (e-journals and e-books) available at The University of Tokyo (including full texts of materials stored in databases and free electronic journals available to the public).

GeoScienceWorld Journals Collection: A comprehensive internet resource for research across the geosciences, built on a database of peer-reviewed journals and integrated with GeoRef.

AGU Digital Library - Books Series: 600 titles of online books published by the American Geophysical Union (AGU) between 1956 and 2011 are available.A list of available titles is shown here .

UTokyo Repository: The UTokyo Repository allows open access to a wide range of research results of members of The University of Tokyo (including papers in academic journals, dissertations, bulletins, etc.). It also contains many ERI publications such as the ERI Bulletin.

Doctorial Dissertation Database, The Unviersity of Tokyo: Bibliographies and abstracts of dissertations submitted for a newly conferred course and research doctor's degrees of The University of Tokyo. Years covered: Bibliographies 1957-, Abstracts 1994-.

Publication&Database (ERI of The University of Tokyo): A portion of the research results obtained by the ERI is open to the public.

Research Navi: Research Navi is a pathfinder created by National Diet Library.

JapanKnowledge Lib: This is the largest knowledge database in Japan including Japanese encyclopedia and dictionaries. Through the database, you can search the Encyclopedia Nipponica, the Unabridged Dictionary of the Japanese Language, and Encyclopedia of Japanese Historical Place Names. (Japanese language only)

Science Chronology Premium (理科年表プレミアム): Database containing science chronology from the 1925 version to the latest version. Tabular data can be downloaded as text data (CSV format). (Japanese language only)

Nikkei Telecom 21 (日経テレコン21): This database provides the search and full-texts of articles on newspapers published by Nikkei since April, 1975. The number of simultaneous sessions is limited. (Japanese language only)

Asahi Shimbun Cross-Search (朝日新聞クロスサーチ）: This database contains full-text articles from the Asahi Shimbun (since 1945), AERA weekly magazine (since 1988), and Shukan Asahi weekly magazine (since April 2000). (Japanese language only)(Simultaneous users:4)

Maisaku (The Mainichi Newspapers Database): In addition to full text searches and access to articles of Mainichi News and Weekly Economist, searches for images of Mainichi from 1872 (the first issue) to 1999 are also possible. Searches for results of opinion polls conducted yearly by Mainichi Press since 1945 are also possible. (Simultaneous users: 2. Japanese language only)

Yomidas (Yomiuri Database Service): A database of Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper articles from the first issue in 1874 to the latest issue (dated the previous day). (Concurrent users: 4)

UTokyo Repository > 131 Earthquake Research Institute > 地震史料(Historical Earthquake Documents): We have made the full text of ‘Historical Earthquake Documents’(地震史料) available online. We have also published compilations of these ‘Historical Earthquake Documents’ organised by notable earthquakes. (All the PDF files we have published are in Japanese.)

Tectonic Zone Project : Database for Earthquake Historical Materials (ひずみ集中帯プロジェクト：古地震・津波等の史資料データベース): This database covers historical reviews for published and unpublished materials regarding historical earthquakes that occurred in Niigata, Yamagata, and Nagano Prefectures, as well as surrounding areas in the Edo era.
