Seismological Studies Using Ocean-Bottom Seismometers
I conduct research to elucidate earthquake source processes and subsurface structures using data recorded by ocean-bottom seismometers (OBSs).
In particular, my work focuses on the development of waveform analysis methods that properly account for characteristics unique to seafloor seismic records, as well as on proposing and conducting new observational strategies based on these methodologies.
