Announcement of the 1002nd DANWAKAI

(Danwakai: ERI Holds “Danwakai”, a monthly meeting where its members present
their most recent academic and technical achievements, once a month on Friday
of every month. Danwakai is open to the public.)

1. 13:30-13:45
TITLE: Calibration of instrumental offsets of absolute gravimeters FG5 #109
and #241 by intercomparison at Tokyo and Mount Fuji
AUTHOR: *Yuichi IMANISHI・Ryuichi NISHIYAMA,
Ryo HONDA (Mount Fuji Research Institute, Yamanashi Prefectural Government)
and Yoshiaki TAMURA (Mizusawa VLBI Observatory, National Astronomical
Observatory of Japan)
SUMMARY: We will show results of the calibration experiments for relative offsets
of absolute gravimeters FG5 #109 and #241 made at ERI and MFRI.

2. 13:45-14:00
TITLE: New understanding of the phase-transition in the 2.5-dimensional kinetic
Ising model based on the spatial and spin Z2 symmetries
AUTHOR: *Ryoji ANZAKI, Shin-ichi ITO, Hiromichi NAGAO,
Masaichiro MIZUMAKI (JASRI/SPring-8),
Masato OKADA (The University of Tokyo, Graduate School of Frontier Sciences)
and Ichiro AKAI (Kumamoto University)
SUMMARY: We investigated the phase transition of the 2.5-dimensional kinetic
Ising model and developed a method to draw the phase diagrams without large
numerical simulations.

3. 14:00-14:15
TITLE: Power law creep of olivine aggregates at low stress
AUTHOR: *Kosuke YABE, Kenta SUEYOSHI and Takehiko HIRAGA
SUMMARY: We show the power law creep of olivine aggregates at stresses lower
than diffusion creep dominates and geophysical implications.
