Introduction: I am a seismologist in USTC based in Hefei, China. I received my PhD degree at Georgia Tech in 2017 and completed postdoc training at Caltech Seismo Lab in 2017-2020. Now I leads the DAta Mining for Seismology (DAMS) group at USTC, focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) and distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) for earthquake science. Generally, we are interested in a wide variety of seismic signals and devising big data means to reveal the underlying patterns. Our recent work includes machine learning analysis of earthquake source time functions, unsupervised clustering of volcanic and glacial seismicity, and seismic monitoring with AI and DAS.
