(Danwakai: ERI Holds “Danwakai”, a monthly meeting where its members present their most recent academic and technical achievements, on a
Friday of every month. Danwakai is open to the public.)

Date: Friday,22 July 13:30-
Place: ERI Bldg.2, 5th floor, Conference room1
1. 13:30-13:45
TITLE: Short review of researches on the analysis of dynamics of seismic processes, carried out at the M. Nodia Institute of Geophysics Tbilisi, Georgia: Perspectives for international collaboration
AUTHOR: *Teimuraz MATCHARASHVILI (ERI; Georgian Technical University)

2. 13:45-14:00
TITLE: Seismological evidence of an active footwall shortcut thrust in the Northern Itoigawa–Shizuoka Tectonic Line derived by the aftershock sequence of the 2014 M 6.7 Northern Nagano earthquake
SUMMARY:We combined seismic data, surface geology, and the observed surface deformation to propose a model for the source fault of the 2014 Northern Nagano earthquake.

3. 14:00-14:15
TITLE: Constraining the source location of the 30 May 2015 (Mw 7.9) Bonin deep-focus earthquake using seismogram envelopes of high-frequency waveforms: Occurrence of deep-focus earthquake at the bottom of a subducting slab
AUTHOR: *Shunsuke TAKEMURA・Takuto MAEDA・Takashi FURUMURA・Kazushige OBARA

4. 14:15-14:30
TITLE: Geodynamic implications of the morphology of the stagnant slab from the northern Okhotsk arc to the northeastern Japan arc
SUMMARY:We consider the possible geodynamical reason of morphological change of the stagnant slab observed from the norther Okhotsk to the northeaster Japan.

5. 14:30-14:45
TITLE: Gravity changes in Miyakejima between the years 2010 and 2016
