1. 13:30-13:45
TITLE: Test observation of a 1.5-km laser strainmeter constructed in
the KAGRA underground site
AUTHOR: *Akito ARAYA・Akiteru TAKAMORI, Wataru MORII (DPRI, Kyoto
Univ.) Kouseki MIYO (ICRR, Univ. Tokyo)
and Masatake OHASHI (ICRR, Univ. Tokyo)
SUMMARY: A 1.5-km laser strainmeter has been constructed in the KAGRA underground site for the precise ground strain observation, and we show its design and results of the test observation.
2. 13:45-14:00
TITLE: Seismic wavefield imaging in the Kanto Metropolitan area based on the replica exchange Monte Carlo method
AUTHOR: *Masayuki KANO・Hiromichi NAGAO, Daichi ISHIKAWA(IST, UTokyo),
Shin-ichi ITO・Shin'ichi SAKAI, Shigeki NAKAGAWA(JMA), Muneo HORI
and Naoshi HIRATA
3. 14:00-14:15
TITLE: Foreshock migration preceding the 2016 Mw 7.0 Kumamoto earthquake, Japan
AUTHOR: *Aitaro KATO・Jun'ichi FUKUDA, Shigeki NAKAGAWA(JMA) and Kazushige OBARA
SUMMARY: We investigated the spatio-temporal evolution of earthquake sequence following a series of large shallow intraplate earthquakes, including a Mw 6.2 foreshock and Mw 7.0 mainshock, in the Kumamoto area of Kyushu, SW Japan.
