1. 13:30-13:45
TITLE: On 2017 eruption of Nishinoshima volcano
AUTHOR: * Minoru TAKEO・Fukashi MAENO・Masanao SHINOHARA・
Takao OMINATO・ Mie ICHIHARA・Takayuki KANEKO and Atsushi WATANABE
SUMMARY: We report the initial stage of Nishinoshima eruption started on
April 18, 2017.

2. 13:45-14:00
TITLE: Preliminary results from shear wave splitting and receiver functions recorded
on the HOBITSS array in an area of slow slip offshore New Zealand
AUTHOR: * Martha SAVAGE・Hubert ZAL (Victoria University of Wellington),
Yarce JEFFERSON(University of Colorado, Boulder),
Katrina JACOBS (Victoria University of Wellington), Kimihiro MOCHIZUKI,
Anne SHEEHAN (University of Colorado, Boulder),
Susan SCHWARTZ (University of California, Santa Cruz), Erin TODD (University of Otago)
SUMMARY: The HOBITSS ocean bottom seismometer deployment recorded earthquakes
from May 2014 through June 2015, including background activity and also seismicity
associated with a slow slip event in October 2014. We present preliminary results
of shear wave splitting on this deployment and on surrounding stations. We also
present preliminary results of receiver function analysis on teleseismic arrivals
on the same stations, which recorded strong sediment reverberations.

3. 14:00-14:15
TITLE: Effects of topography on particle composition of 2011 tsunami deposits
on the ria-type Sanriku coast, Japan
AUTHOR: * Tomoko GOTO・Kenji SATAKE, Toshihiko SUGAI(Graduate School of Frontier Sciences),
Takeo ISHIBE(Association for the Development of Earthquake Prediction),
Tomoya HARADA and Aditya Riadi GUSMAN

4. 14:15-14:30
TITLE: Earthquake nucleation process under periodic stress perturbations
AUTHOR: * Takuya SAITO and Takahiro HATANO

5. 14:30-14:45
TITLE: 4DVar data assimilation for state predictions of massive simulation models
based on uncertainty quantification
AUTHOR: *Shin-ichi ITO, Hiromichi NAGAO, Tadashi KASUYA and
Junya INOUE(Graduate School of Engineering)
