ERI Holds “DANWAKAI”, a monthly meeting where its members present their most recent academic and technical achievements, once a month on Friday of every month. DANWAKAI is open to the public.

DANWAKAI has resumed in-person meeting in the Seiminar Room in September with live-streaming vir Zoom. If you would like to attend the Zoom session, please pre-register using the form below by March 19, 2026, 12:00pm.

SUMMARY: We report the activities in the MEXT STAR-E Project, and introduce the summary of the MEXT STAR-E NEXT Project, which will launch in April, 2026.

TITLE: “MUONITH”: Development of a simulation tool for multi-directional muography

SUMMARY: We are developing “MUONITH” (MUOgraphic Numerical Inversion & Tomography Harness), a fast and lightweight simulation tool for quantitatively evaluating observation designs and three-dimensional reconstruction performance in multidirectional muography.

TITLE: Pilot research project of active  faults in onshore-offshore transition zones

SUMMARY: We show results of pilot researches on regional crustal deformation associated with the 2024 Noto Earthquake estimated from pre- and post-2024 high-resolution DEM and evidence for paleoseismic uplift inferred from late Holocene marine terraces.
