A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Earthquake Research Institute, the University of Tokyo (ERI) and  the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST)  in July 2015. The agreement aims to foster collaboration in the field of seismology and related researches regarding the 2015 Nepal-Gorkha earthquake.
