  1. 13:30-13:45
TITLE: Generation of a sustained water-rich column during the 2021 Fukutoku-Oka-no-Ba eruption
    AUTHOR: *AUTHOR: Fukashi MAENO・Takayuki KANEKO・Mie ICHIHARA・Yujiro SUZUKI・Atsushi YASUDA・Kiwamu NISHIDA and Takao OHMINATO
SUMMARY: We analyzed surface phenomena based on high-resolution time-series records (satellite, infrasound), geological and geochemical data, and plume modeling of the August 2021 eruption at Fukutoku-Oka-no-Ba, Ogasawara Islands, and discussed the processes of interaction between magma with high discharge rate and seawater in shallow water.
  2. 13:45-14:00
TITLE: Deformation of an infinite elastic cone due to a point pressure source buried on the axis: Implications to volcanic deformation
    AUTHOR: *Ryuichi NISHIYAMA
SUMMARY: A semi-analytical solution for deformation of an infinite elastic cone due to a point pressure source (extension of Mogi’s model for conical topography).
  3. 14:00-14:15
TITLE: The characteristics of the 2022 Tonga volcanic tsunami in the Pacific Ocean
AUTHOR: *Gui HU・Linlin LI (Sun Yat-sen University), Zhiyuan REN (National University of Singapore) and Kan ZHANG (Sun Yat-sen University)
SUMMARY: We conduct tsunami waveform and spectral analyses of the records at 116 coastal gauges and 38 deep-ocean buoys across the Pacific Ocean, and identify four distinct tsunami wave components generated by air-sea coupling and seafloor crustal deformation.
